Red Sauce Ravioli | Filiz Flavour

Filiz Flavour

Ravioli is a type of pasta with a filling, such as cheese, meat, or vegetables. We are a family-owned and operated company that specializes in creating fresh ravioli in our factory every day. We have three flavors of ravioli, all of which are made with quality ingredients and are served in a variety of ways. Our traditional red sauce ravioli is made with a delicious, savory red sauce that will have your taste buds dancing. It can be served with a variety of sauces, such as alfredo, pesto, or cream sauce. The ravioli can also be served in soup, on a salad, or on a sandwich. The two other flavors of ravioli are meat ravioli and spinach ravioli. The meat ravioli is made with delicious ground beef and is served with a red sauce or in soup. The spinach ravioli is made with fresh spinach and mozzarella cheese and is served with a light cream sauce. Whether you're looking for a hearty meal or something light and fresh, we have the perfect ravioli for you.

5. Add oregano and chilli flakes to enhance the flavour.

6. Let it cook for a while, once the spinach is cooked properly transfer it into a plate or bowl and let it cool.

7. Add cheese to it and mix it well.

And your stuffing for ravioli is READY!

The spinach used here is not blanched so it will be full of nutrients.

For Ravioli :

1. In a bowl take 2.5 cups of all purpose flour and add oil to it. Salt needs to be added as per taste.

2. Start kneading the dough gently and then vigorously for some time.

3. Add water as per the consistency. Remember the dough must not be too runny or to hard. It should be soft to touch.

4. If the dough is too sticky you will need some extra flour while dusting and rolling.

5. Once the dough is kneaded properly roll it into circular shape and stuff it as shown in the video.

Make sure to pin it properly with fork so that stuffing doesn't come out during boiling.

For boiling the ravioli take a pan add water to it. Once the water starts bubbling add ravioli to it. Make sure the flame is medium. Boil the stuffed ravioli for 3-4 minutes and take it out.

Tip: Don't throw away the water used for boiling as it will be used in red sauce.

Tomato puree:

1. Wash the tomatoes in running water.

2. Take water in a big pan. Once the water starts bubbling add tomatoes to it.

3. Remember you have to blanch it and not boil it as it will become mashy.

4. Now remove the tomatoes from the pan let it cool and peel out the skin.

5. Blend the tomatoes in a mixer grinder.

And our tomato puree is READY.

Red Sauce :

1. In a sauce add oil and finely chopped onion. Saute it till it's golden brown.

2. Now add tomato puree.

3. Add some salt to taste, red chilli powder and turmeric powder to it.

4. Let it cook for sometime. Do add sugar so it balances out the sourness of tomatoes and the sauce comes out slightly sweetish in taste.

5. If the sauce is too thick you have the water left which was used for boiling ravioli, so add some to the sauce according to your wish.

Make sure to not add too much of water as the sauce should be thick and not runny in consistency.

Since everything is ready it's time to assemble everything.

In a plate or pasta dish take out ravioli.

Add sauce on top of it. Spread it well.

Garnish it wish some cheese.

And our cheesy healthy ravioli in red sauce is Ready.
